Repercussions faced due to unhealthy morning habits

Every morning is a fresh start in an individual’s life. It is a sign of new opportunities, new hopes and a new start to all that we are doing in our life. It brings a lot of positivity to everyone around. Everyone must have come across the saying “Health is Wealth”. Thus, one should maintain a proper health for doing their work properly. Our morning routine plays an important part in regulating our health, for years we follow a daily routine without even knowing about the repercussions of it. One should follow the saying that “Healthy mind resides in a healthy body” to achieve success in life.

There are several negative impacts on our health because of our faulty morning habits. Some of the faulty habits and their repercussions are as follows:-

  • Skipping Breakfast

Breakfast is the first meal of the day. Many individuals skip their breakfast according to the diet plan they follow for weight loss but it is not the right way. Skipping of breakfast means prolonging the fasting period which is not the way to lose weight. If one skips a meal they will surely consume more proportion of food in their next meal. Therefore, one would have a proper, healthy breakfast and start their morning energetically.

  • Not exercising

Early morning exercise is very important as at that time of the day our body has less amount of glucose and helps in burning more calories in an easier way. Exercise helps to keep our body fit and increases or improves our metabolism. So, one should get rid of all the laziness and start exercising every morning.

  • Oversleeping

One should know how to balance their sleep well. More sleep leads to problems like weight gain, higher blood sugar level and laziness whereas too little sleep hampers one’s concentration in their work.

  • Not utilizing the sunrise/morning sun

For the normal functioning of the immune system, Vitamin D is a necessary element and its best source is the sunlight. Everyone should avoid thinking about their skin complexion all the time and should come out of their house because sunshine not only facilitates ones immune system but also helps in reducing weight which is a good source of knowledge for all those who want to lose unwanted fats.

  • Not drinking lukewarm water every morning

Lukewarm water is one of the best ways to get rid of fat. Lukewarm water increases the metabolism and temperature of the body which is one of the easiest ways to lose weight. Thus, we should drink a glass of lukewarm water empty stomach every day.

Some food habits that should be avoided every morning are as follow:

  • Fried items like vada pav or puri sabzi should be avoided as the first meal of the day. It is because they contain too many calories.
  • Processed food items like Maggi, cereals, cheese and packaged juices are an unhealthy option as there are excess carbs and artificial ingredients contained in them.
  • Bread butter should be a complete no as it has no nutritional value in it.
  • Sweet yogurt has high sugar content which is not good for health.

Since NDA Came Into Power, Green Clearances Are Now A Mere Formality; Diluting the Old Environmental Norms!

Before the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) came into power in 2014, the UPA (United Progressive Alliance) created the EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) Notification legislation back in 2006 for monitoring the overall environmental impact due to overall industrial development in India. As well all know, green clearances are being done in several areas over the past five to four years. Now, the environmental governance researchers are raising a serious concern on the recent green clearance scenario and different dilute environmental norms supported by today’s business-friendly government!

The scenario over the past four years:

The Union government has accepted over 1,098 projects in order to make some major development in India. Indeed, it’s a great move to make great development over 124,788 hectares area. But, this action has led to massive environment clearance (EC) as well! More than 6,060 projects in different development sectors have been completed while increasing EC massively. According to the reports, greenery was fully gone from 80% of the areas in Delhi.

Moreover, the Union Ministry of Environment has also focused on two primary laws EC (Environment Clearance) and forest diversion. The government has focused on Forest and Climate Change while increasing awareness among the people of India through certain guidelines and amendments to follow in order to keep the environment clean from pollutants. Green clearances are now treated as a mere and undeniable formality.

Rights diluted by the Union Ministry of Environment:

The Union Ministry of Environment has also diluted the entire environmental impact assessment process which was introduced by the previous government while diluting several rights-based legislations as well! Additionally, NDA has been focusing on reforming the previously created environmental clearance (EC) process and forest diversion process in order to ignore overhaul. The first change NDA brought was to make the coal mining projects open in order to keep the development process smooth. The Forest Advisory Committee (FAC) now reviews Forest Clearance cases and determines whether to approve it for several different development projects.

Government’s reconciliatory approach to stop the violators:

The government has adopted a strict reconciliatory approach in order to stop the violators. A six-month window has been fixed for all projects that need obtaining an EC for proceeding further. This has improved the compliance greatly. In March 2018, the government has agreed to allow SEAC/SEIAA for taking action against the violators. Overall, the past four years of Government’s action clearly indicate that nothing much has actually improved in the green clearance and the government needs to work harder to change the current scenario!

How the Racketeers are taking advantage of diminishing job offers in India

In today’s world finding a job is very tough and this is what the scammers take advantage of. The scammers use different types of trick to make fool of people looking for honest work. They advertise about their fake job offers on sites where the genuine companies post about their job placements. These rackets lure many people to the outskirts of the towns and even in small cities as they ride on big brands. The youth in their desperation to work in bigger companies get trapped and become an easy prey for the racketeers.

They convince people by making upbeat promises to them about their chances of employment in bigger companies like TCS and Wipro. Firstly, the job consultants convince you for the job over a call and ask you to come for an interview. Secondly, the victim of the scam is asked to submit his original documents for further references and lastly, after a representative interview the person, they ask them for a hefty sum of money for the services offered before the job.  In some cases, they promise to give the offer letter later while most of the times they print letters with fake letterheads and gives it to the individual.

The job rackets are one of the booming industries in our country. This is just because of the rapid rise in the number of students passing out every year from low-quality professional colleges and diminishing jobs in public and private sectors. The Internet has become the basic tool to the racketeers as through fake emails and websites they can misrepresent themselves.

There are some racketeers who go to any extent to prove themselves genuine to people. They not only provide the job letters to an individual but also make them join in jobs and give them training in their respective fields. They even deposit the salary to the individual’s account to create an environment of genuineness. Recently, in the month of July, a group of railway job scam was arrested by the Delhi Police, they were even found to give salary to the trainee for about 2 months. They also trap people with fake campus placements. Last year in the month of May, racketeers deceived around 300 students under an engineering college in Odisha. They provided the students’ fake job offers from companies like Mitsubishi. This group of racketeers came into light when the students got to know about the fake job offers.

Chakraborty of Teamlease Services mentioned that there are some basic rules a company follows while hiring a candidate, that is, there are no such circumstances where a company could ask the candidate for money. To check the authenticity of the company is the most important part before even providing any details to the respective authority. Even researches say that one must scrutinize the email id or number from which they are being contacted.

A sophisticated method of verifying the job letter has been advised by TCS. The letter contains a QR code, which must be scanned by the candidate to reach the company’s verification page or even they can go through the internet link provided in the offer letter.
