Every morning is a fresh start in an individual’s life. It is a sign of new opportunities, new hopes and a new start to all that we are doing in our life. It brings a lot of positivity to everyone around. Everyone must have come across the saying “Health is Wealth”. Thus, one should maintain a proper health for doing their work properly. Our morning routine plays an important part in regulating our health, for years we follow a daily routine without even knowing about the repercussions of it. One should follow the saying that “Healthy mind resides in a healthy body” to achieve success in life.
There are several negative impacts on our health because of our faulty morning habits. Some of the faulty habits and their repercussions are as follows:-
- Skipping Breakfast
Breakfast is the first meal of the day. Many individuals skip their breakfast according to the diet plan they follow for weight loss but it is not the right way. Skipping of breakfast means prolonging the fasting period which is not the way to lose weight. If one skips a meal they will surely consume more proportion of food in their next meal. Therefore, one would have a proper, healthy breakfast and start their morning energetically.
- Not exercising
Early morning exercise is very important as at that time of the day our body has less amount of glucose and helps in burning more calories in an easier way. Exercise helps to keep our body fit and increases or improves our metabolism. So, one should get rid of all the laziness and start exercising every morning.
One should know how to balance their sleep well. More sleep leads to problems like weight gain, higher blood sugar level and laziness whereas too little sleep hampers one’s concentration in their work.
- Not utilizing the sunrise/morning sun
For the normal functioning of the immune system, Vitamin D is a necessary element and its best source is the sunlight. Everyone should avoid thinking about their skin complexion all the time and should come out of their house because sunshine not only facilitates ones immune system but also helps in reducing weight which is a good source of knowledge for all those who want to lose unwanted fats.
- Not drinking lukewarm water every morning
Lukewarm water is one of the best ways to get rid of fat. Lukewarm water increases the metabolism and temperature of the body which is one of the easiest ways to lose weight. Thus, we should drink a glass of lukewarm water empty stomach every day.
Some food habits that should be avoided every morning are as follow:
- Fried items like vada pav or puri sabzi should be avoided as the first meal of the day. It is because they contain too many calories.
- Processed food items like Maggi, cereals, cheese and packaged juices are an unhealthy option as there are excess carbs and artificial ingredients contained in them.
- Bread butter should be a complete no as it has no nutritional value in it.
- Sweet yogurt has high sugar content which is not good for health.
